In February 2019, the Treasury Laws Amendment (Enhancing Whistleblower Protections) Bill 2018 passed the House of Representatives.

What that means for employees and employers is that the new laws;

  • Broadens the variety of people who are eligible to report disclosures.
  • Expands the type of conduct that you can make reports (protected disclosures) about.
